120-point action plan in economic sphere adopted between Turkiye and Azerbaijan

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz has announced about a 120-point Action Plan.

Yilmaz made these remarks at the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Forum in Ankara.

The 120-point Action Plan was adopted at the 11th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in Ankara.

He expressed confidence that this plan will expand cooperation and trade ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

“We agreed to simplify customs and logistics procedures to facilitate trade between our countries,” Yilmaz stressed.

The Turkish vice president emphasised that Azerbaijan uses funds received from the oil and gas sector to develop the non-oil sector.

“We think that this approach is very logical. I believe that the private sector will play a positive role in diversifying the Azerbaijani economy. The relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will become exemplary for our region and the Turkic world,” he added.
